Native American Cultural Events will host its first Inter-Tribal Powwow inside the Beaumont Civic Center on Saturday, Oct. 22, beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and children 12 and under are in free. “More than 50 different Indian dancers from around the country will be there,” said Henry Pipps, event organizer.

The Golden Triangle chapter of the Cajun French Music Association Harvest Dance and Gumbo Fundraiser, a celebration of Cajun music and dancing that will support the chapter, is set for Saturday, Oct. 22, from 7-11 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 6621 W.
