Viva Fest

The City of Beaumont is hosting a multi-day Hispanic heritage celebration on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, at the Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont. Viva Fest will kickoff the festivities on May 13 with live music by Sandy G y los Gavilanes followed by the movie Frida. Ticket are $5 for May 13.

Beaumont Community Players will host six productions of Rent: The Musical on the McFaddin-Ward Auditorium stage inside the Betty Greenberg Center for Performing Arts (4155 Laurel Ave.) on May 13-14 and May 19-21. Show times are 7:30 p.m. each night with a matinee May 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $40 (cabaret seats), $25 (adults) or $23 (65 years and older, students 21 and younger).
