In advance of Memorial Day, a Vietnam veteran in hospice care was given a courtesy many of his brothers in arms never received – a welcome home.

Coordinated by his caretakers at Compassion Hospice, Glenn Joseph was celebrated for his service at an event held at his Beaumont home May 20.

May 26, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas added another prosecutor to the sentencing case of former Beaumont Independent School District administrators Patricia Adams Collins Lambert and Victoria Steward. According to a filing at the court, Assistant United States Attorney Robert Wells of Tyler was added as co-counsel in the case.
