For the time being, the recreational red snapper season is closed in federal wat

The recreational red snapper fishing season is closed once again after a grueling nine days – most of which were too rough for many boats to go offshore. But we did get a huge break. Out of the goodness of their heart NOAA Fisheries extended the season an extra two days because of the lack of fishing opportunity we had due to Tropical Storm Colin. They are so nice, and so out of contact with the real world.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force associated with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas in Beaumont has made an arrest in the bomb threat made at ExxonMobil on Wednesday, June 15.

A 23-year-old Beaumont, Texas man has been arrested for federal violations in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales.

More than 200 cancer survivors and caregivers donned their best western-wear as part of a “Survivor’s Celebration of Life” event Friday, June 3, at the Westin Houston Memorial City, located inside Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center in Houston. The event was hosted by Memorial Hermann Cancer Centers.
