San Francisco theatrical producer Kate Robards will be performing a one-woman tale of her juicy journey from her hometown of Orange, Texas, to Shanghai, China in the cleverly named production Mandarin Orange on Friday, Jan. 9, and Saturday, Jan 10, at Orange Community Players, 708 W. Division St. in Orange.

This was the year of a lot of worsts, some pretty goods and a spare few bests in the bunch. In fact, the entire summer of 2014 may go down as one of the overall worst years for movies in quite some time. A slew of superheroes dominated screens and numbed audiences.
