Enchanting … One of the favored parties of the year, Le Grand Bal: “Some Enchanted Evening” promises to transport guests to another time and place where romance reigns supreme and cares are washed away by the gentle winds of the South Pacific. Presented by Lamar University’s Friends of the Arts, Le Grand Bal is the major annual fundraiser for the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
So tasty … The annual Saint Joseph’s Day spaghetti lunch at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica Center will be Friday, March 16. At 10 a.m. is the blessing of the food on the Saint Joseph Table, and then from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., dine-in and to-go lunches will be available.
