Beautiful belles … The Symphony League of Beaumont hosted A Night to Remember to present 42 belles to their families and guests. Co-chairs April Penland and JenniferThompson, along with their very creative committee, orchestrated a beautiful evening for a ball.
Community-minded … Sandra Ellington, president of Communities In Schools Southeast Texas, welcomed a capacity crowd at the CISSET annual black tie event this past Friday evening, Jan. 20. Featured speaker Bill Milliken, founder and vice chairman of Communities In Schools Inc., is one of the nation’s foremost pioneers in the movement to give young people the help they need to graduate from high school and go on to lead rewarding lives.
Ready, set, shop … Fashion Week kicked off with a media party held this past Tuesday to launch the upcoming fashion fleet at participating boutiques such as Bella Bella, Reign, YaYa, BBS, Talbot’s, Posh & Co, Jackie’s, and Gaudie & Co. Tickets are still available for the Saturday, Jan. 21, event from 5 to 9 p.m. Meet at Goodfella’s and jump on the buses that will run continuously to the participating merchants.
