Ladies who lunch … Last week the Junior League of Beaumont hosted its Holiday Luncheon that honored the oh-so-deserving Michele Smith. The luncheon was a smashing success with all tables filled to capacity and almost 250 well-heeled women and a few dapper gents in attendance. A-marketing we will go … The Junior League of Beaumont will once again host Main Street Market beginning Thursday, Dec. 1, and running through Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Beaumont Civic Center. Girls Night Out will kickoff this year’s fab finds on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. with wonderful holiday shopping, a style show, live entertainment by the Kay Miller Trio and a chance to win a diamond necklace graciously donated by Mathews Jewelers. General admission tickets priced at $5 are good for the entire Market.

Beerfest … More than 500 beer lovers descended upon the Art Museum of Southeast Texas last week to attend the Art of Beer benefiting AMSET and then head into the Yappy Hour hosted by Beaumont Main Street.
