The 44th annual Nederland Heritage Festival welcomes 100,000 friends and neighbors through March 19 for an annual outpouring of fun, entertainment, music, crafts and carnival rides, as well as a delicious array of fair food.

It’s a Fat Tuesday celebration like no other. The long-standing tradition of Taste of the Triangle will celebrate 34 years on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Civic Center.

Fat Tuesday is a day synonymous with food and festivity, and Southeast Texas’ premier foodie fest and fundraiser will have everything your belly desires. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Beaumont Civic Center box office at 701 Main St. in downtown.

Datsik is not one of. He is the hottest EDM DJ in the music genre. The mind trick master returns to Houston to perform this Friday, Feb. 17 for the eye-polling, soul-thumping Ninja Nation 2017 Tour at Stereo Live.

John Swift will tell you he might not know how to cook, but he knows good food. Swift has been all over the world and has found some great spots. His friends will call him up and tell him what country they are in and he will tell them where to go eat.

Swift, from the Dallas area, officially landed in Beaumont in 2003 with his wife, Suzanne. He’s worked for oil and gas companies, and bought meat and futures contracts for national restaurant chains. Now, he’s a first time restaurateur with Republic Chicken.
