Kip Winger and the boys of Winger are back with a brand new 10-track album titled Better Days Comin’, due out tomorrow on Frontier Records.

Of course, everyone knows Winger — the New York City rockers who gave us songs like “Seventeen,” “Headed for a Heartbreak,” “Can’t Get Enuff,” which are tunes that are etched in the pages of rock history.

With more than 20 million albums sold, national rock act 3 Doors Down have announced a special summer tour titled “3 Doors Down Acoustic — Songs from the Basement” with a date in Beaumont on Saturday, Aug. 30 in the historic Jefferson Theatre. Tickets for this all ages show go on sale this Saturday, April 19, at 10 a.m. via the Beaumont Civic Center box office for $65, $47.50, $35. The Port Arthur Histori­cal Society, in collabora­tion with Tegge Circus Archives, is presenting Step Right Up! an exhibit featuring a conglomera­tion of approximately 60 pieces of circus history, at the Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur.

World-renowned pianist and composer Haskell Small, hailed by England’s Musical Timesfor his “dazzlingly prodigious technique” and heralded by The Washington Post for his “technical prowess,” will be performing Sunday, April 13, at 6 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal School, 4108 Delaware St. in Beaumont.

Admission to the concert is free, but donations are accepted.
