Three months into the year and still no breakout hits. Each week brings a new B-movie thriller or lame-o comedy — nothing to really get excited about. That post-award season drought seems to be stretching on into spring, but it won’t be long before the summer movie season arrives, and right now the feeling is it couldn’t get here soon enough.
For the first time ever, WWE superstar Chris Jericho and his rock band Fozzy will perform in Beaumont on Friday, May 22 at the historic Jefferson Theatre. Tickets for this all ages show go on sale on Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. via the Beaumont Civic Center box office and ticketmaster.com for just $10.
The building to the left of Texas Inn on Eastex Freeway has been home to several restaurants over the past decade – Willy Ray’s BBQ, Lone Star Steak House, and more recently J.A.C.K.K’s Diner – and while these barbeque places were smoked out, a new eatery might have what it takes to stay awhile.
