Classic Movie Night continues with the 2004 comedy Mean Girls on Friday, Jan. 8, at the historic Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont. Written by Tina Fey, Mean Girls stars Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron, who attends public school for the first time and joins a clique headed by Regina George (Rachel McAdams). Cady falls for Regina’s ex-boyfriend, and out come the mean games. The film is 97 minutes and rated PG13.

The Legends at the Jefferson Series continues Thursday, Jan. 14, with Liverpool Legends — Beatles Tribute Band. Tickets are $45-$20 and can be purchased at the Civic Center box office or Ticketmaster outlets including ticketmaster.com. Experience a journey throughout the entire career of the Beatles from four talented musicians and actors were handpicked by Louise Harrison, the sister of the late George Harrison.

Jerry Nelson’s Hill County welcomes country music singer Mark Chesnutt to the Backyard Music Hall on Friday, Jan. 8, with doors opening at 7 p.m. for ages 18 years and older. Tickets are $37.50 (reserved) or $25 (general admission) and can be purchased online at jnhillcountry.com or at the venue.
