The Beaumont Community Players invite you to laugh along with their latest production of Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple beginning Friday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Betty Greenberg Center for Performing Arts at 4155 Laurel Ave. Show dates are April 1-2, 8-9, 15-16 with a 2 p.m. matinee on April 9.

The Odd Couple debuted in 1965, won a Tony Award, and spawned multiple revivals, including a popular network television show, movie and even a female version of the show.

Country stars Tracy Byrd and Neal McCoy, along with up-and-coming artist Harrison Swift, will take the historic Jefferson Theatre stage Saturday, April 2, with Swift going on at 7 p.m.

The Anayat House’s fourth annual superhero-themed fundraising gala will be held at the Event Centre (700 Crockett Street) in downtown Beaumont on Friday, April 1, at 7 p.m.

While dress is casual fun, this year’s gala promises to be special as those who attend can dance the night away with Southeast Texas’ favorite party band, Champagne Room.

Courville’s has announced a trio of concerts that will likely sell out sooner rather than later. Known as the “Bruce Springsteen of Canada,” Fred Eaglesmith returns on April 14. The Black Lillies of Knoxville, Tennessee, will perform April 21, and the one and only Walt Wilkins & The Mystiqueros take the stage May 19.
