Four-time Grammy nominated rock act The Fray will perform at Liquid Society Party by the Pool at L’auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles on Thursday, July 21, with gates opening at 7 p.m. Tickets for this 21-and-older show are $35 and are purchased at the gate. From Colorado, four-piece The Fray has been compared to the likes of Coldplay and has released four studio albums, with two reaching platinum status.

James Evans, Big Bend photographer, comes to the McFaddin-Ward House sharing his wit, humor, and life’s work capturing images of the formidable national park in South Texas on Thursday, July 21, from 6:30-8 p.m. Evans fell in love with Big Bend on a hiking trip 28 years ago, so he set up camp … permanently. He’s been taking stunning pictures ever since, has authored two books, and finally got married this year.
