Hank and Cupcakes are coming to Beaumont to perform at the Logon Café on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. with no cover charge for all ages. The New York Post calls Hank (Ariel Scherbacovsky) and Cupcakes (Sagit Shir) a “funky fresh sound,” so if you have never seen them live, here’s your chance. The duo flew to Berlin in 2012 to record their debut record at the famous Hansa Studios where U2, David Bowie, R.E.M, Iggy Pop and many more legends have recorded legendary music, with Swedish producer Ludwig Boss. Marshall

Meet Marshall, a beautiful male American Staffordshire terrier. He weighs 74 pounds and came in July 24 as a stray. However, he is extremely friendly and loves people. Marshall has shared playtime with other shelter dogs and gets along just fine. He showed no interest when a cat “fluffed” by him. Marshall is very much the gentleman when walking on a leash. A home visit is required on all American Staffordshire terrier adoption requests prior to approval. The adoption fee of $120 covers the neuter, DHLP, bordatella, rabies, flea treatment and worming.
