It’s not too late to purchase tickets for the 16th annual Celebrate Families Luncheon hosted by the Family Services of Southeast Texas on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the MCM Eleganté from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Clays for Cardio Shoot-Out benefitting the Cardiovascular Foundation of Southeast Texas, postponed last fall due to Harvey, will take place Saturday, Feb. 24, at the 1-in-100 Gun Club (1228 FM 421) in Lumberton.

Registration begins at 2 p.m., and entry is $130 for a single shooter. The flight begins at 3 p.m. followed by kids activities and more at 3:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided by Courville’s at 5:30 p.m.

Duck raffle tickets are $10 each, and the winning duck will receive a $1,000 Visa gift card. All proceeds benefit the Shorkey Center, a United Way Agency that provides comprehensive services, including physical and occupational rehabilitation, behavioral services, speech services, diagnostic evaluations, direct educational services and parent education, for children with special needs and disabilities.
