The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) hosts Treasure Auction: The Art of the Abstract on Thursday, May 10 with dinner and cocktails beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the live auction following at 7:30 p.m.

Schneider, 52, is no stranger to Southeast Texas as he played Courville’s in early 2017. He sings, plays the guitar as well as the keyboard, trumpet and harmonica, and has been releasing music since the early ‘90s when he sang for bands like Joe Rockhead and Ugly Americans. He’s recorded more than a dozen albums and was honored numerous times at the Austin Music Awards.
