La Soirée at the Beaumont Civic Center, Jan 27

La Soirée

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Foundation’s annual gala La Soirée will be held Jan. 27 at the Beaumont Civic Center. Guests who appreciate the nostalgia of days past will especially enjoy this year’s theme — A Roaring La Soirée.

Music from the ‘20s and fantastic food from Bando’s will keep the party going.

“A Roaring La Soiree is quite simply the party of the year,” said Faiza Anwar, who is co-chairing the event with her husband, Dr. Syed Anwar. “The attendees each year look forward to how the atmosphere committee transforms the Civic Center into a different place or time. This year we are so excited about going back in time to the Roaring 1920s. The entertainment always complements the theme. This year we’ll have a torch singer, the Party Crashers and surprises throughout the evening.”

The community’s support is vital to the hospital, said Kim Moncla, executive director of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Foundation.

“The event supports the sacred work of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas through the foundation. It is our largest fundraiser of the year. All funds raised by the foundation are utilized right here in Southeast Texas to help provide the highest level of medical care,” she said. “This event was created by the community for the community to support care for our neighbors.”

Tickets start at $250 each. Call (409) 212-6110.
