Subaru of America Inc. has introduced the all-new 2015 WRX. Powered by a new 268-horsepower, 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo Boxer engine, the WRX debuts the model’s first 6-speed manual transmission as well as bold, new sedan designs.

With a torque rating of 258 foot-pounds, this new WRX engine yields higher fuel efficiency than the previous model (manual transmission) with fuel economy ratings listed as 21 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg combined with the manual transmission, and 19 mpg in the city, 25 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg combined with the automatic transmission.

The new WRX also features a bold front design with a front spoiler and unique grille. Additionally, the WRX profile features new, standard 17-inch wheels. For 2015, the WRX is available in seven exterior colors, including Crystal White Pearl, Galaxy Blue Pearl, WR Blue Pearl, and Crystal Black Silica.Interior highlights

A 1-inch longer wheelbase compared to previous WRX plays a role in providing a roomier cabin in the new, 2015 model. Rear seat legroom is increased by nearly 2 inches. Trunk capacity, also increased, is now 12 cubic feet — up from 11.3 cubic feet in the previous WRX sedan.

Additionally, rear hip room is listed at 53.1 inches, and shoulder room is 54.2 inches for this four-door sedan.

Standard features include items such as automatic climate control and a new standard audio system featuring AM/FM stereo with HD Radio, single-disc in-dash CD player, six speakers, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (subscription required), and much more.
