Distinctively Dodge: 2015 Durango

For 2015, the Durango is available in four trim levels: SXT, Limited, R/T and Ci

With a starting MSRP of $30,495, standard seven-passenger seating and available second-row captain chairs, the 2015 Durango competes in the full-size SUV segment.

Durango is available in four trim levels: SXT, Limited, R/T and Citadel. For 2015, the Rallye Appearance Package is available on SXT and Limited models, and Dodge brand’s signature Blacktop Package is available on SXT, Limited and R/T models.

Also new for 2015 is a red Nappa leather seating package, available on Durango R/T models. Previously only available on Charger and Challenger in the Dodge lineup, the red Nappa leather complements the R/T’s exterior features. This is in addition to the black Nappa leather seating already available with the available Premium Nappa Leather Group.

Exterior

The face of Durango is distinctly Dodge and features a “split crosshair” grille with mesh textures unique to each trim level. Durango’s sculpted hood and grille add to the front profile.

Muscular fender arches and curves that flow back in through the doors accent the side profile of the Durango. And in back, large 3.5-inch dual exhaust tips are standard on V-8-equipped vehicles, as well as the V6 powered Citadel, Rallye Package and Blacktop Package models. Other V6 powered Durango models have a 3-inch single exhaust tip.

Powertrain choices

Named one of Ward’s 10 Best Engines for three years, Durango’s standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine paired with the standard eight-speed transmission delivers 290 horsepower (295 horsepower on Rallye Package, Blacktop Package, and Citadel models) and 260 foot-pounds of torque.

Fuel economy ratings for the 3.6-liter V6 are 18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined for RWD models; and 17 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined for AWD models.

The 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine produces a best-in-class 360 horsepower and 390 foot-pounds of torque.

Fuel economy ratings for the 5.7-liter V8 are 14 mpg in the city, 23 mpg on the highway and 17 mpg combined for RWD models; and 14 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg combined for AWD models.
