The stylish Town & Country

The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country offers classic design and a long list of standa

Thirty years ago the Chrysler Group invented the modern minivan in 1983 with the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager. Six years later, the first luxury minivan, the Chrysler Town & Country, debuted in 1989. Seventy-eight minivan-first innovations and 13-million minivan sales later, the company still leads the way.

Chrysler Town & Country is available in the United States in three different models: the Chrysler Town & Country Touring (MSRP $30,395), Town & Country Touring L (MSRP $33,395) and Town & Country Limited (MSRP $40,395).

Refined interior

The well-designed interior of the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan is nicely crafted with high-quality materials that are soft to the touch, and offers a multitude of features, including smart storage and seating options. For example, comfortable second-row captain’s seating is available on Touring L and Limited models.

Additionally, seating on the Touring and Touring L models is leather-trimmed, while Limited models feature Nappa leather-trimmed seating with suede accents. Automatic air conditioning with tri-zone temperature control are standard on all models.

Overall, the interior is sleek, nicely designed and offers plenty of storage areas — cargo volume is 33 cubic feet behind the third row.

Walk around

The Town & Country exterior complements its interior appearance. All three models are well designed and feature chrome body side molding. Touring-L and Limited models extend the chrome to the side mirrors. Additionally, all models feature 17-inch aluminum wheels, with the Limited offering 17-inch polished aluminum wheels.

Under the Hood

Town & Country’s powertrain delivers best-in-class horsepower. The 3.6-liter V-6 engine produces 283 horsepower and 260 foot-pounds of torque and is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Chrysler’s Town & Country fuel economy average is 17 mpg in the city. On the highway, it averages an impressive 25 mpg.

The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan is built at Chrysler Group LLC’s Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
