Toyota’s efficient Yaris designed, assembled in France

With a starting MSRP of $15,250, the Toyota Yaris offers both three-door and five-door models and features a fuel economy rating of 30 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway and 32 mpg combined when equipped with its four-speed automatic transmission. With the five-speed manual transmission, Yaris averages 30 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway and 33 mpg combined.

The Yaris three- and five-door models come in L and LE grades, and five-door also offers the SE grade. The mono-spec trims eliminate option packages, and in the Toyota tradition, standard equipment is comprehensive. The Yaris L includes features such as air conditioning, color-keyed outside door handles, black front grille and fabric-trimmed seating. The LE highlights include a remote keyless entry system, 15-inch alloy wheels, black front grille with chrome accents, metallic interior trim accents and more.

In all Yaris models, the standard Entune Audio system includes an AM/FM CD player with six speakers, HD Radio and much more. The SE grade adds features like machined spoke 16-inch alloy wheels, a black front grille with a piano black accent, rear spoiler, black exterior trim, plus piano black interior trim accents and contrasting white stitching on the seats.

Under the hood, Yaris features a 1.5-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder DOHC engine, which produces 106 horsepower and 103 foot-pounds of torque.

The 2017 Toyota Yaris is available in several exterior colors, including hues such as Barcelona Red Metallic, Magentic Gray Metallic and Classic Silver Metallic. With seating for five, the Yaris offers the following dimensions: rear legroom is 33.3 inches, rear shoulder room is 51.8 inches and rear hip room is 50.1 inches (five-door models) or 49.8 inches (three-door models). Additionally, cargo volume is listed as 15.3 cubic feet (three-door models) or 15.6 cubic feet (five-door models).
