What started out as a local, upscale dining getaway in 2009 has become one of Beaumont’s favorite jewels for fresh, quality dishes and relaxing environment.

The restaurant, which is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy Beaumont between Calder and Dowlen Road, has an upscale dining space usually only found in bigger cities. The Grill boasts only the freshest line-caught seafood; no-hormone, no-steroid, free-range beef; and other menu items sure to delight your taste buds.

Some might be timid to try The Grill, thinking it’s only for the elite, but really it’s just a posh place with a comfortable atmosphere.

“It really is like a home away from home,” said manager Chris Berger. “We know when our regulars go on vacation, or their kids’ names, their birthdays, and that’s just something special we have that a lot of other places have gotten away from.”

While the restaurant is normally only open for dinner, this Sunday promises to be a hit, when they open their doors to celebrate Mother’s Day with one of the best brunches around. Each table will receive a selection of fresh seasonal fruit and an assortment of Danishes, croissants, biscuits, cornbread muffins, and coffee cakes straight from the oven.

Seven special brunch items – including a bagel and smoked salmon, seafood omelette, bacon and cheese omelette, bacon and eggs, eggs and steak benedict, waygu rib eye, chicken-fried steak and eggs, and Texas French toast will be available, as well as 10 other mouth-watering items that can be found on The Grill’s regular menu.

Even though The Grill is known for it’s ever-changing menu, it’s much more than great food. Customers are provided with a wonderful dining experience where meals are prepared by an award-winning chef and amazing kitchen staff that have years of experience in the culinary arts. Chef Terry Bell brings examples of his extraordinary creations right to your table and has helped open some of the most famous restaurants in America. Bell has been the executive chef at Isle of Capri, Delta Downs and L’Auberge casinos. He has also worked all over the world and beside other great chefs like Wolfgang Puck.

When you are at The Grill, there’s no need to rush. Patrons are encouraged to savor every morsel and experience true fine dining; Berger said it’s all about relaxing.

“We are not trying to rush, rush, rush,” she said. “We try not to bring the entrees out right after your salads because we want the customers to sit back and enjoy their company and really get the full effect of the meal.”

The shining wine glasses on top of deep red tablecloths and dimmed lighting give the ambience of formal dining and provide a warm, comfortable and relaxing environment to enjoy your time away from the day-to-day stress.

The Grill also offers a unique place where people can go to unwind, the Cabana and Patio. Complete with two flat screen televisions and comfortable areas to lounge in, the Cabana is a perfect spot to meet up with friends for a light meal and few drinks. Plus, the Cabana and Patio are open earlier, at 3 p.m., so you can still enjoy all The Grill has to offer before dinner. Live music is also playing on Thursdays and Saturdays.

If you are interested in having The Grill cater your next meeting or dinner, just give them a call; they can give any function a touch of elegance and class.
