The 26th annual Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas is Thursday, Feb. 8, through Sunday, Feb. 11, in downtown Port Arthur, with plenty of food from more than 40 vendors.

Gates open at 5 p.m. Thursday with live music on the main stage from Longneck Road at 6 p.m. followed by the Boogie Kings. Over on the Green Stage, local act Sage Elmore and Lamar’s Section 51 will entertain.

Friday, gates will open at 6 p.m. with the first of parades beginning at 7 p.m. including the Golf Cart/ATV Parade and the Valero Krewe of Krewes Parade both staring at Rosehill/Seawall, then travel down Procter Street ending at Houston Ave.

Music begins at 8 p.m. on the main stage with Honky Tonk Jones and headlined by Texas Country artist Roger Creager at 10:30 p.m. Green Stage acts are Randy Balsano, Knotch and Crossroads.

The party gets started early Saturday with gates opening at noon. Parades will be held throughout the day beginning with Krewes Royalty March at 2 p.m. (Atlanta Avenue to Austin Avenue); Motorcycle Showcase Parade at 5:30 p.m. (Rosehill/Seawall to Houston Avenue); and the big one, Total Krewe of Aurora Grand Parade, featuring 25 large floats at 6 p.m. (Rosehill/Seawall to Houston Avenue).

Music can be heard throughout the day on the main stage, with The 4 Barrels at 3:30 p.m. followed by Lil Nathan & The Zydeco Big Tymers, William Clark Green and headliner Kevin Fowler at 11 p.m.3  Green Stage acts include Tin Pan Alley, Shon Branham, Ethan Hunt, To Whom It May, and Angel’s Siren.

Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas will conclude Sunday with gates opening at noon. At 2 p.m., the Umbrella Brigade Parade will take place, along with the Munchkin Parade at 3 p.m. and the Motor Parade at 4 p.m. Sunday’s musical lineup is the J.A.G at 3:30 p.m. and Keyun & The Zydeco Masters at 6:30 p.m. Walcott, The Mix, and the Larry Tillery Band will perform on the Green Stage.

Tickets are $5 on Thursday, $15 on Friday, $15 on Saturday, and $10 on Sunday. Kids under 12 get in for free.Visit mardigrasportarthur.com.
