Pardi Gras

Pardi Gras

The Mardi Gras season is officially underway, so let the good times roll at the third annual Pardi Gras on Saturday, Feb. 11, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Beaumont Civic Center. Dance the night away with local party band Champagne Room, who will be playing the best of old school Motown, R&B and funk. Beans and sausage will be served, and the cash bars will be stocked with the drinks of your choice. Tickets are $24 and can be purchased online at or at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the Southeast Texas Circle of Hope Inc., a charitable organization founded in December 2014. The mission of Southeast Texas Circle of Hope Inc. is to assist those in need of help with funds for a catastrophic event, medical and/or funeral needs. Their foremost responsibilities are to those in need of assistance, their families, the volunteers who have committed their time, and to the donors who have committed their personal resources to the mission.

The dress for this event is anything from casual to formal — whatever makes you feel good. Though many may be in blue jeans, there will be some there in ball gowns and tuxes and even Mardi Gras attire.
