If there’s something strange in Gladys City, then it is probably time for another Spookfest at Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum. The Spookfest will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with trick or treating through the boomtown buildings and fun activities for “ghouls” and “goblins” of all ages.

Do crafts, play some ghostly games and go trick-or-treating. Gladys City will be a great, safe place to bring the kids and celebrate Halloween. The Greek community at Lamar University as a whole will be working to support this event by handing out candy and leading the games and crafts.

The event is free and open to the public. Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown is on Highway 69 at Jimmy Simmons Boulevard in Beaumont. For more information, call (409) 880-1750.
