Andrew Duhon

Grammy nominated New Orleans native Andrew Duhon comes to Beaumont to with his honest and gritty voice to play Courville’s on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Duhon has released three albums, his first in 2009 titled Songs I Wrote Before I Knew You recorded in Nashville with three-time Grammy winner Trina Shoemaker. A year later, Duhon released Dreaming When You Leave, an EP with Grammy winning producer John Synder. Duhon’s latest effort came in 2013, The Moorings, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album.

Twisted Throttle

The newest rock band to emerge from Southeast Texas is Twisted Throttle, and the four-some will perform at Dylan’s in Port Arthur on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. The lineup features female vocalist Mindy Tompkins alongside Aaron Williams on guitar, Ben Sanders on bass and Nathan Currie on the drums.

Red River Songwriters Group

Daughtry

Popular rock act Daughtry will perform inside the Grand Event Center at Golden Nugget on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. The band formed in 2006 after lead singer Chris Daughtry took the music world by storm during the firth season of American Idol. The band’s self-title record in 2007 becoming the fastest-selling debut rock album in SoundScan history with more than 3 million sold thanks to the radio hits “It’s Not Over” and “Home.” The record led them to more than a dozen wins at the American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
