Doing no wrong - Linkin Park spot on at Honda Civic Tour

How could you go wrong with Linkin Park? What about Incubus? The Cynthia Mitchell Woodlands Pavilion, north of Houston, hosted the 2012 Honda Civic Tour on Aug. 28, 2012, with headliners Linkin Park, who played nearly two-dozen songs. Brilliant move.

Due to traffic problems, we missed Incubus and openers MuteMath.

We last saw LP on March 3, of 2011, which was a make up date that was cancelled earlier in the tour due to vocalist Chester Bennington feeling under the weather, at the Toyota Center, for a sold out performance. This one was no different – sold out, but outdoors.

LP continues to grow in directions I thought they have already conquered. Their sound along with their fan base has globally spread. How many bands can say they can hold their own Summit? It’s the LPU – Linkin Park Underground. They love their fans as much as the fans love them. This band has grown up before our eyes. They could have easily blended in with the rest of the music world in 2002 with the debut of Hybrid Theory. Not so. LP can do no wrong.
