Four-time Grammy winner Steve Wariner plays Beaumont on Saturday
The River night club in Beaumont welcomes four-time Grammy Award winning country music artist Steve Wariner on Saturday, June 28 with doors at 7 p.m. Tickets for the 18 and older show are $30 and can be purchased at the venue or online at theriverbeaumont.com.
Wariner, now 59, began music with his father in Indiana and before the age of 18, he was playing bass with the late Dottie West and Glen Campbell. He went on to sign his first national recording contract in 1976 with RCA Nashville but it took four years to achieve his first Top 10 hit, “Your Memory,” then went on to chart more than 50 singles, 10 of which were No. 1 and become a member of the coveted Grand Ole Opry. Popular records are “By Now,” “All Roads Lead to You,” “Lonely Women Make Good Lovers,” “Some Fools Never Learn,” “Life’s Highway,” “Small Town Girl,” “The Weekend” and “Holes in the Floor of Heaven.”
