Hank and Cupcakes are coming to Beaumont to perform at the Logon Café on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. with no cover charge for all ages. The New York Post calls Hank (Ariel Scherbacovsky) and Cupcakes (Sagit Shir) a “funky fresh sound,” so if you have never seen them live, here’s your chance. The duo flew to Berlin in 2012 to record their debut record at the famous Hansa Studios where U2, David Bowie, R.E.M, Iggy Pop and many more legends have recorded legendary music, with Swedish producer Ludwig Boss. The Logon Café is at 3805 Calder Ave.

Record-setting rapper Flo Rida will hip hop his way to the H20 Pool Concert Series at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles on Friday, Aug. 11, with gates opening at 7:30 p.m. Born Tramar Dillard, the 37-year-old Flo Rida debut song “Low” spent No. 1 on the Billboard chart for 10 consecutive weeks and set a record for most downloads at 6 million.
