The “25 Years and Counting Tour” featuring +LIVE+ and Counting Crows is set for the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion north of Houston on Sunday, July 22 as gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

It was 2017 that marked a triumphant and critically acclaimed return for the reunited original lineup of +LIVE+, which includes Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion) as the band performing at major festivals, such as Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza, a run of arena dates with Guns N’ Roses, and select solo headlining shows, across five different countries.

+LIVE+ celebrated the 25th anniversary release of the band’s 1991 debut full-length album, Mental Jewelry in 2017, and have sold over 22 million albums worldwide and earned two No. 1 records with Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi.

Throwing Copper was recorded in 1994 and the band’s biggest single, “Lightning Crashes,” spent atop the Modern Rock radio chart for 10 consecutive weeks. The album also hit No. 1 and sold more than 10 million units.

+LIVE+ returns with new music, and vocalist Ed Kowalczyk spent time talking to us about the history, future and all things +LIVE+.
