Twisted Throttle set to rock Madison's on Saturday

Twisted Throttle

Twisted Throttle has carved a unique rock niche in Southeast Texas. After debuting in January of 2018, vocalist Mindy Bell and bandmates Aaron Williams (guitar), Ben Sanders (bass) and Nathan Currie (drums) have generated plenty of regional buzz in a competitive industry.

Live music fans can check them out on Saturday, March 2, at Madison’s on Dowlen at 9 p.m.

Expect to hear catchy originals like “How You Like Me Now” as well as arena-rock covers from Boston, Kansas, Heart, Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC.

“Our philosophy is to bring a full-on rock show to any event or festival we’re performing at,” said Bell. “No two shows are exactly the same. We want to give the fans an exciting, fun experience that they can’t get anywhere else.” Bell, who possesses powerful vocals, said music has always been a passion.

“One of my biggest inspirations is the reaction we get, and the people around me, have to our music — whether it’s my family, friends or a group of fans at our shows. I love seeing how much they’re enjoying the music, and how it the songs take a different meaning for each of them.”
