Kia’s flagship luxury sedan, the K900

2015 Kia K900 features standard 19-inch multi-spoke wheels.

Kia’s new K900 is an impressive luxury sedan that includes a long list of standard equipment, comfortable accommodations and an elegant design inside and out.

With a starting MSRP of $54,500, the K900 is offered in two variations: Premium and Luxury.

Additionally, the range-topping VIP+ package adds luxury amenities including quilted Nappa leather trim seats available in two new colors: Indigo Blue and Tuscan Brown.

Elegant exterior design

At first glance, the K900 is designed to leave an indelible impression. The long 119.9-inch wheelbase and wide 63.8-inch front and 64.1-inch rear track of the K900 come together to create a chic profile.

Up front, Kia’s signature grille is nearly vertical within the smoothly contoured front fascia. A tasteful chrome bezel cuts high across the K900’s rear deck lid, adding elegance and lending visual width. And the rear bumper is accented with fully integrated dual chrome-tipped exhaust ports.

Opulence within

Open the door to the K900 and the same sense of elegant sophistication can be found within the luxuriously appointed cabin.

Standard on the Premium trim with Interior Highline package, Luxury and VIP+ is genuine walnut or poplar wood trim that sweeps across the dash and door panels, complementing the richness of the interior.

First-class, in-car entertainment comes standard on the Luxury and VIP+ trims in the form of a 900-watt Lexicon high-fidelity audio system, the most advanced audio system ever offered by Kia. Furthermore, this five-passenger sedan offers comfortable accommodations (passenger volume is 110.8 cubic feet) with 38.2-inches of rear legroom and 57.2-inches of rear shoulder room and a cargo volume of 15.9 cubic feet.

Flagship performance

The K900 offers the first-ever V8 engine in a Kia sedan. The Tau DOHC all-aluminum 32-valve five-liter engine produces 420 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 376 foot-pounds of torque at 5,000 rpm. The V8 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel economy ratings for the K900 average 15 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
