Out and About: Beaumont girls represent city at Texas Rose Fest

Albert Nolen

Summer fun … Anna Kathryn Trevino, Callie Roane and Guiliana Daleo will represent our town as duchesses in Texas Rose Festival in October. These fantastic college girls attended the festival summer parties this past week in Tyler. The theme this year is “Rock the Rose.” The elaborate costumes will be based on music legends. Parents of the trio Stephanie and Bernie Daleo, Kelli and Paul Trevino, and Rachael and Stephen Roane are truly looking forward to this fantastic fall festival. Many of our social swans have participated in this wonderful festival and can certainly explain what fun is in store for these lovely young ladies!

Birthday bash … Carol Hearn was feted recently by her hubby, Donald Hearn, and family members Jo and Mike Bievenu, Maureen Winchell, Kathleen and Robbie Hambright, Gerry and Lum Edwards, daughter Sarah and Seth Wells, and David and Daniel Hearn. All the fun took place at the Clifton Steamboat Museum with a beach theme, plenty of libations and tasty appetizers. Of course this lively group was dancing to music provided by Uncle Mike’s Band. Subzero was there making ice cream to keep guests cool and on the dance floor. In the mix were Sherrie and Jeff Branick, Kim and Guy Goodson, Charlotte and Greg Mains, Rosemary and Anthony Asta, Laura and Jim Hayes, Courtney and Hollis Horton, Maridale and Randy Still, Cheryl and Walker Linscomb, Jamie and Scott McCauley, Karol Glaspy, Robert Calvert, Billie and Max Pugh, Denise and Michael Truncale, Phoebe and Austin Dishman, Tessa Blanchette Koch, Lisa Dishman, Nancy McKool, Vel Martin, Mary and Ronnie Moses, Jan Allred, Kathy and Jack Irwin, Liz Harris, Misty and Justin Anderson, Kelli and Jeremy Huebel, Cathy and Steve Shoemaker, Shannon and Ed Garrod, Linda and Steve Breaux, and too many more too mention. A great party to celebrate a super girl turning 60!

Giving back … Don’t forget to attend The Art of Giving at AMSET on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 5:30 p.m. for complimentary appetizers, open bar, an opportunity to bid on original art, as well as listen to Kate Eckhart and Anna Scheurich discuss legacy planning. See you there!
