Harlem Globetrotters coming to Ford Arena

The Harlem Globetrotters

The World Famous Harlem Globetrotters known for their one-of-a-kind family entertainment will bring their 2018 World Tour to the Ford Arena on Sunday, Jan. 28, at 4 p.m. to take on their longtime adversaries, the Washington Generals.

The Globetrotters will face a revamped Washington Generals team, which recently launched a more competitive profile, making an appearance in “The Basketball Tournament” over the summer. The Generals are looking to snap a 47-year losing streak against their world famous rivals during their 2018 tour.

With a star-studded roster featuring Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard, Cheese Chisholm plus female stars TNT Lister, Ace Jackson and Hoops Green, the Globetrotters’ show is unrivaled in the world of family entertainment.

“We’ve been to 123 different countries, yet we don’t speak 123 languages,” said Globetrotter Zeus McClurkin. “One thing we do speak is smiles. Everyone that comes to watch us will smile. We can communicate through smiles.”

After the game, Globetrotter stars will sign autographs and take photos with fans.

The highflying dunks do not end with the players, as 2018 will also mark the debut of the “Flying Globies” – an amazing acrobatic trampoline dunk team that will defy gravity during the game action with their exciting in-air stunts.

Tickets are $18-$90 and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or the Ford Park box office. Ford Arena is at 5115 Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
