A Beaumont man who allegedly committed more than a dozen thefts over a nine-month period has been indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury and will face 14 charges of felony theft.

On May 19, Beaumont police officers were called to EZ Pawn located on College Street in reference to an aggravated robbery. 

During the crime, it was reported three black male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas covering their faces entered the business. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. After committing the robbery, the suspects fled in a black, four-door, newer model vehicle - possibly a Lincoln MKZ with paper plates.

Officers with the Port Arthur Police Department were dispatched to a business located on Jefferson Drive on May 17 in reference to an auto burglary.

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a Beaumont man for burglary of a habitation after breaking in and assaulting his ex at her home.

According to the probable cause affidavit of Beaumont Police Officer A. Garcia, the Beaumont Police Department was dispatched to a home located on Lawrence Drive on Saturday, March 31. Dispatch told responding officers Ronnie Arline was chasing his former girlfriend through her residence with a firearm. By the time officers arrived, the perpetrator had left the home.

An 18-year-old LaPorte man pleaded guilty to robbing a Liberty bank on May 16.

Aaron Gonzalez pleaded guilty to the charge of bank robbery by force or intimidation before U.S. Magistrate Judge Zack Hawthorn, announced U.S. Attorney Joseph D. Brown.
