ExxonMobil confirmed in a statement that an Echo worker has died as a result of an accident at its Beaumont refinery. The accident happened Friday, Dec. 1 at the downtown refinery.

Heaven Ray Cox of Mauriceville

An Orange County mother is searching for her runaway daughter, 15-year-old Heaven Ray Cox of Mauriceville, reports the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO). 

According to Criminal Investigator and Public Information Officer Janois Strause Grizzaffi, Tammy Cox called to the sheriff’s office at 3 p.m. on Nov. 26 to report that her daughter had run away, leaving a note telling her mother that the teen was possibly traveling to California.

Stephenson, and Deputy William B. “Ike” Eichelberger are calling it quits and entering retirement – after almost 100 years of combined service to the county on top of decades of service to the country as well, as all have also served as U.S. Marines.
