A 37-year-old federal inmate has been sentenced for receiving contraband in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales in a news release on June 11.

Donald James Bratton Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, pleaded guilty on Jan. 6 to attempting to obtain a prohibited object by a federal inmate and was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Ron Clark.
