The Texas Department of Public Safety released the names of all 26 people, including one unborn child, killed in the mass shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs on Sunday, Nov. 5.

The Huntsman Flood Fund announced today it has received its first donation from an industry partner, a $25,000 contribution from Caliche Development Partners. A Texas-based company, Caliche is focused on the development and operation of state-of-the-art midstream storage and transportation assets, including the Caliche Coastal facility in Beaumont.

UPDATE, 11/8: Homes around Gladys and North Major Drive will not have water starting around 9 a.m. today to repair the 24 inch water line damaged yesterday, city officials said.

According to information from the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, on Monday, Nov. 6, 30-year-old Arthur Ray Rogers Jr. pleaded guilty to murdering 31-year-old Joshua Jerome Green on May 11, 2015. This case was investigated by the Beaumont Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Mike Laird. Rogers has not yet been sentenced for the crime, but he is awaiting his fate while in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail, where he has been held since Aug. 15.
