Scholarship campaign announced at A&M

The most aggressive scholarship campaign in the history of the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences began today with an announcement by Jeffrey W. Savell, Ph.D., vice chancellor and dean of agriculture and life sciences, of the Dean’s Excellence Scholarships.

Emergency SNAP benefits extended

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has again provided the state with more than $344.1 million in emergency Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program food benefits for January, benefitting about 1.6 million Texas households The funds are distributed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

FCC Beaumont hosts hiring event series
