OPD arrested Heather N. Davis and Aaron D. Williams

Police in Orange arrested two suspects and confiscated a variety of controlled substances along with two handguns during a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Crepe Myrtle Drive in Orange on Nov. 11, OPD reports.

Erin Burns, clinical audiology supervisor, speech and hearing department, earned honors Nov. 3 as the third recipient of the Texas State University System Staff Excellence Award. She is a resident of Beaumont and a seven-year veteran of the Lamar University staff.
