Looking back and moving forward

As we journeyed back into 2022, we found out that Southeast Texas is not boring. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. Sure, Houston has professional sports teams and such, and Louisiana has casinos, but the “409” is filled with plenty of entertainment.

New art exhibit at AMSET

Couples compete in annual ‘Not-So Newlywed Game’

Five local couples will compete to outwit their opponents in the fifth annual Not-So Newlywed Game, presented by Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeast Texas. The event is Thursday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Beaumont Event Centre, 700 Crockett St.
