On Thursday, March 17, Beaumont police officers were dispatched to Fast Lane along Interstate 10 in reference to a stabbing.

Upon arrival, they were advised by the two black male victims, a 34 and 32-year-old Beaumont males, and the witness, an 18-year-old man from Beaumont, that they had been at a residence in the 500 block of Palm spending the night with a female that they had just met.

TEXARKANA, TEXAS MAN GUILTY OF VETERANS FRAUD

TEXARKANA, Texas – A 31-year-old Texarkana, Texas man has pleaded guilty to Veterans Affairs fraud in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Tiawa Charles Braxton pleaded guilty to theft of public money today before U.S. District Judge David J. Folsom.

If we make a right choice and obey God’s Word, we are likely to enjoy the outcome. If we continue to make poor choices, then we will not find ourselves very happy. “Rhapsody in LU” will honor the fine arts at Lamar University on Saturday, March 19, when Lamar’s Friends of the Arts present the 37th Le Grand Bal, a gala evening of art, fine dining, dancing and entertainment. Le Grand Bal is the major annual fundraiser for the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
