Investigators with the Orange Police Department are searching for suspects in a recent burglary at an apartment complex in Orange.

According to a report from OPD, Officer Tim Pruitt was dispatched to the Sabine Park apartments located at 111 Pine Ave. at approximately 6:24 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9. The residents of the apartment told the officer the last time someone had been home there had been on Dec. 8 at about 1 p.m. They discovered the burglary upon their return home at approximately 3 p.m. on Dec. 9.

Orange police are looking for the person or person responsible for a burglary that took place sometime during the night of Dec. 8 or in the early morning hours of Dec. 9 at Gary’s Coffee Shop.

Monday, Dec. 9, drivers may have noticed a difference when making a left turn at some traffic lights in Vidor.

Instead of a solid green light for a permitted left turn in a left turn lane, drivers will find a flashing yellow arrow reminding them to take caution when turning. Green and red arrows for protected left turns will remain.

Members of the Nederland Historical Society gathered at a Christmas meeting and celebration Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Marion & Ed Hughes Public Library to enjoy refreshments and sing Christmas hymns and carols with music performed by the Southeast Texas Dulcimer Friends.
