Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Dec. 13 that Texas, along with Arkansas and eight other states, won a final judgment in National Federation of Independent Business, et al. v. Perez. The case concerns the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) “persuader advice exemption rule,” which would have required attorneys to reveal to the DOL certain confidential information protected by attorney-client privilege.

A suspect wanted in an Austin murder is the lasted addition to the FBI’s list of “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives,” the FBI announced in a press release Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Fugitive Robert Van Wisse is being sought for his alleged involvement in the attack and murder of a young woman on Sept. 20, 1983. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
