Update Nov. 7, 1:30 p.m.: Port Arthur city officials have released the identities of a man who died and a man who was injured in an industrial incident at Free Flow Services in Port Arthur on Nov. 4.

According to information from the office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, reports of a potential terror threat against Texans announced by federal authorities Friday, Nov. 4, necessitated increased vigilance by local and state first responders – as well as the public at large.

Top Gift Shop in Port Arthur was reportedly robbed on Nov. 3 at 5:15 p.m.

Port Arthur Police Department officers responded to a call from 1908 9th Avenue. The clerk told officers that three black males entered the store brandishing weapons and taking "an undetermined amount of cash," according to the statement.

No injuries were reported during the incident. Officers were unable to locate suspects.
