State troopers and other law enforcement officers caught up with and arrested a suspect who fled during a traffic stop in Orange on March 17, reports Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper David Henry.

According to Henry, DPS troopers attempted to stop a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant on S.H. 87 north of Orange at approximately 6:45 a.m., but the driver of the vehicle failed to halt. He continued to evade officers, traveling southbound on S.H. 87 until they spiked the vehicle’s tires.
