"The Beaumont Police Department wants to remind you that Halloween is one of the most enjoyable days of the year for children, but parents should be aware of the potential risks that can affect children who are not supervised properly," BPD said in a statement posted on their Facebook page. "Trick-or-Treaters should always have adult supervision, even if they are traveling in a group of friends, to ensure that they aren't a tempting target for real-life goblins."
