It is estimated that Americans spend more than four years of their life behind the wheel. It then would make sense that some of their fondest memories or best conversations were had in a car. To share in these special memories and help create even more, Calder Woods, a nonprofit, faith-based senior living community, invites the public to its 12th annual Antique Car Show on Friday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to noon to help families kick off Father’s Day weekend.

According to an announcement made by Beaumont Independent School District spokesperson Ron Reynolds, the district’s Board of Managers approved the hiring of several new administrative employees as recommended by new Superintendent Dr.


The Officer Bryan Hebert Memorial Foundation will host a fish fry fundraiser on Thursday, June 25 at Performance Car Audio in Beaumont.

For $10, guests can purchase a fish plate served with hushpuppies, fries and a bottled water. Dine-in and drive-thru pick up services will be available from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Proceeds from this benefit are used to provide full paid scholarships for cadets to attend the Lamar Institute of Technology's Regional Police Academy in honor of fallen police officer, Bryan Hebert.
