Fire reported at former sawmill

Oct. 9, fire crews extinguished a fire at the old Louisiana-Pacific sawmill plant, north of Silsbee on FM 92. Hardin County Judge Wayne McDaniel reported the fire, which was sparked by a demolition contractor cutting a large pipe, was in the attic of an outbuilding.
